Frequently asked questions.
Answers to the things patients ask before booking. For treatment-specific questions, the page for each treatment has its own FAQ at the bottom.
Booking & first visit
Three ways: WhatsApp (fastest in the UAE), phone, or the booking form on this site. We confirm your slot with the relevant clinician within the hour during business hours.
Often yes. Same-day slots are kept for emergencies and for patients who can travel within hours. Call or WhatsApp and we will check availability.
We see walk-ins when the schedule allows — but pre-booking by phone or WhatsApp shortens your wait significantly. For emergencies, we will fit you in same-day even without an appointment.
Your Emirates ID, your insurance card if applicable, and any previous dental records or X-rays you have. If you've been to another dentist recently and have copies of imaging or treatment plans, bring them — it can save time and a second X-ray.
Insurance, fees & payment
We work on a reimbursement basis — you pay for your treatment and claim it back from your insurer, and we give you a clear, itemised invoice for the claim. Call us or contact us on WhatsApp before your appointment and we'll explain what is usually covered. Your insurer makes the final coverage decision.
No. Madeel works on a reimbursement-only basis and does not bill insurers directly or submit insurance pre-approvals. We provide an itemised invoice and available supporting documents; your insurer decides whether a treatment is covered or requires approval.
We can give general guidance on usual coverage, but only your insurer can confirm your exact benefits and reimbursement. You remain responsible for Madeel's treatment fee. Card, cash, and bank transfer are accepted.
Yes — after the consultation we provide a written treatment plan with itemised costs. No 'surprise' add-ons at the appointment.
Visiting the clinic
Emissa Tower, Office 113, Al Ittihad Street, Meshairef, Ajman. From Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) take the Al Ittihad Street exit; we are visible from the road.
Yes — covered parking in the Emissa Tower building, free for clinic patients. We will validate your ticket at reception.
English and Arabic are spoken across all teams. Some clinicians also speak additional languages — let us know your preference when you book.
Most consultations are about an hour. Cleanings 45–60 minutes. Restorative and aesthetic appointments vary by complexity — we give you a time estimate when we confirm your booking.
Care quality & clinical standards
Pediatric dentistry is delivered by a pediatric-dentistry specialist; general and endodontic care by a microscope-trained general dentist with advanced endodontics fellowship. Where a case is outside our in-house scope, we refer to a trusted external specialist rather than handling it ourselves.
Madeel Dental Center operates under MOHAP facility licence MOHAP-100081-2025. A facility licence is separate from each clinician's professional licence. Current professional registration and the exact licensed title of a treating clinician can be confirmed with reception.
Zeiss surgical microscope for endodontics. CBCT 3D imaging for implant and complex case planning. Intraoral scanning (iTero) for impression-free workflows. CEREC and ExoCad for same-day chairside restorations. Diode laser for periodontal treatments. All current generation, verified by the clinical team.
Children & families
Yes. Pediatric dentistry is delivered by a pediatric-dentistry clinician with master's training. We treat infants, children, and teenagers — preventive care, restorations, behaviour management for anxious children, and complex cases under sedation or general anaesthesia when clinically appropriate.
First visit by age one (or within six months of the first tooth) is the international guideline. Early visits are short, friendly and focused on familiarising the child with the clinic — not on doing work.
Yes — nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available for both children and adults who experience dental anxiety. For complex pediatric cases, general anesthesia is also available, delivered by certified anesthesia specialists who monitor the child throughout the procedure.
Emergencies
Call or WhatsApp during clinic hours (11:00–20:00, Saturday to Thursday; closed Fridays) and we will fit you in same-day. See our Emergency Dentist page for what counts as a same-day case and what to do for situations outside our hours.
We are open Saturday to Thursday, 11:00 to 20:00, and closed on Fridays.
